Color House Graphics – Grand Rapids, MI
Color House Graphics, a successful West Michigan printing and book manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Offset Press Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining our large-format Heidelberg sheetfed presses used in book manufacturing.
We are looking for a skilled operator with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain quality throughout each press run. This role is essential to producing high-quality printed book components for our customers.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate a sheetfed offset press to produce book forms, inserts,
and covers - Monitor and verify print quality, including color accuracy, registration, defects,
and overall consistency - Troubleshoot and make adjustments to maintain production efficiency
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of sheetfed offset press operating experience preferred. Willing to
train the right applicant - Strong mechanical skills
- Ability to follow detailed job instructions
- Able to work overtime during peak production periods
Pay & Schedule
Pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour (based on experience and shift)
Shift: 2nd or 3rd shift

Color House Graphics – Grand Rapids, MI
Color House Graphics, a Grand Rapids-based printing and book manufacturing company with over 35 years of experience, is seeking a Book Bindery Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating bindery equipment used in the manufacturing of high-quality books.
We encourage cross-training across multiple pieces of bindery equipment, and additional training opportunities will be offered to individuals who demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, reliability, and a desire to grow.
What You’ll Do
- Set up, operate, and maintain bindery machines used in book manufacturing
- Monitor equipment during runs to ensure quality and efficiency
- Troubleshoot mechanical or quality-related issues as they arise
- Assist in cross-trained areas of the bindery as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of bindery or printing experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude. We will train the right candidate
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Pay & Schedule
Pay: $17.00–$20.00 per hour (based on experience and shift)
Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour shift
Shifts Available: 1st or 2nd (overtime during busy periods)
